Paragon Space Development Corporation
Paragon has been awarded under CCDev (US$ 1.4 million) for environmental control and life support systems.
Founded in 1993 by two of the Biosphere 2 crew members, Paragon is based in Tucson, Arizona. Having already provided hardware to both Mir and the International Space Station, Paragon prides itself for having designed and built the first commercial experiment aboard the ISS. They are also active partners with NASA in the development of spacesuits and environmental life support on NASA's Orion MPCV.
Development of the Commercial Crew Transport - Air Revitalization System (CCT-ARS) has been completed. Paragon is also working with SpaceX in the areas of thermal and environmental control for the Dragon spacecraft.
