    Final flight of the space shuttle Discovery. 35th Space Station Assembly Flight ULF5. The Leonardo MPLM, converted to a Permanent Multipurpose Module (PMM), was permanently attached to the ISS. Steven G. Bowen replaced Timothy L. Kopra on the crew when the latter was injured in a cycling accident. Joining the ISS as a permanent non-human crew member is Robonaut 2 (R2).
